NEW DELHI/BRASÍLIA. Argentina's peanut crop is of good quality this year – the situation is different in Brazil, and the moisture content is still too high in India. China is buying significantly less than last year.

Weather plays the decisive role

The Indian peanut market has been quite turbulent over the past few weeks, but now a certain calm seems to be returning. Arrivals from important growing states such as Uttar Pradesh are decreasing and the high moisture content is still deterring many buyers.
