NEW DELHI/ATLANTA. The winter harvest in India has begun and with large arrivals flooding the markets in the coming weeks, traders expect prices to fall sharply. Meanwhile, the US could increase exports to the EU.

For the past two months, Indian peanut prices have remained in a relatively firm range, with only nominal price increases of USD 5/mt this week. However, new arrivals on the spot markets are expected to increase significantly in the coming days, which will put strong pressure on prices.
