FRANKFURT. Daily monitoring of the oil seed sector – the latest price developments.

The sesame seed exporters in India have raised their prices for hulled sesame seed in the final week of the year. Contrary to this, prices remain stable in Paraguay. There currently is a lot of rain and the crop is very promising, although there are some pests and cutting ants to contend with. Reference prices for the new crop may not be available yet, but market participants are optimistic that they will be able to compete in the international market.
