OTTAWA/NUR-SULTAN. Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has again revised the production estimates for Canada downwards.

Shipments from Kazakhstan become more expensive

Germany imported more than 4,000 metric tonnes from Russia between August and October 2019. This is a decline of 50% over last year. The increase in imports from the Ukraine, Canada and Kazakhstan has only partially offset this decline. Shipments from Kazakhstan have notably nearly doubled to 1,330 metric tonnes. The farmgate prices for mustard seeds from Kazakhstan (Sinapis Alba, 97% purity) have increased since the beginning of December from EUR 0.305 per kg to EUR 0.335 per kg FCA Kazakhstan.
