Mustard seeds: Canada again revises production estimates

OTTAWA/MOSCOW. Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has further reduced its production estimates for 2019/2020.

Cut backs in acreage

In July, Agriculture and Agri-Canada has again cut back on acreage by 5% over June.  Although average yields are expected to range 2.3% higher than last year at 900 kg per hectare, production is now estimated to decline by 20%. Total supplies are expected to range at 210,000 metric tonnes.
