Millet: yields 20% lower in Ukraine

DALIAN/KYIV. Supply pressue is an issue for millet in China. Harvesting is nearly complete in Ukraine. EU imports have slumped.

Supply pressure in China

Supply pressure has increased in China with farmers and grain traders becoming more active in shipping in November. Terminal millet demand is also weak and the demand for raw grain has continued to decrease. These negative factors are weighing on the export prices for millet.
