Hazelnuts: SIAL does not live up to expectations

Exporters disappointed with SIAL

For suppliers the SIAL trade fair presents a great opportunity to connect with customers and assess market sentiments. On returning from this year’s fair, which was held in Paris on 19-23 October, exporters in Turkey were, however, rather downbeat. Most attending the fair state that visitor number were disappointing. An impression which the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters Association has also confirmed in highlighting that visitor numbers were lower than last time and that the fair was not that crowded.
