... Europe and the USA, according to Rayglen experts. Especially shipments to the European region are better than they have been for years. Germany alone imported more than 6,000 mt of flaxseed from Canada between September and November, a six-fold increase on the same period last year. Imports from Kazakhstan were also up around 23% year-on-year at 12,732 mt. At the same time, shipments from Russia fell by half. Year-on-year, Germany reduced its total imports by 8% to 36,569 mt. Canadian flaxseed prices in Manitoba have now risen to CAD 697.99/mt EXW, which is around EUR 454/mt.&
