Flaxseed: Germany cuts imports by 11%

Imports from Russia decline

Germany nearly imported 26,000 metric tonnes of flaxseed between September and October, which is a decline of 11.3% since last year. Although shipments from Russia have decreased by 36% to 7,512 metric tonnes, shipments from Kazakhstan have risen by 8%. Imports from Poland and Sweden have also increased. In addition, the Urkaine has shipped as much as 318 metric tonnes to Germany, whereas nothing was exported to Germany last year..
