Prices of essentials faced an increase in cost due to water scarcity

 

 

CHENNAI. Summer has been hard for the past two months in Tamil Nadu which affected the water density in ground level as well as in ponds and lakes. Which increased the want of water in the state more than usual requirement due to summer. This affects the farmers to pay for tanker lorries and buy water for their harvest since then the prices of raw materials such as paddy and tree crops faced a slight increase in cost due to water scarcity. Crops production per hectare are also affected by the drought hit in the state. Measures are sincerely taken to restore and withhold the water level by the government of Tamil Nadu.
