AYDIN. Market players are following the weather developments in the fig growing regions in Aydin with great interest. The outlook is still good. Last week's holidays brought exports to a virtual standstill.

Irrigation underway

The weather in the coming weeks and months is of enormous importance for the development of the fig crop in Turkey. The conditions are still good, but when temperatures rose significantly at the turn of the month, growers were already worried, market players reported.
