Dried figs: promising export figures

AYDIN. 2021 was a successful year for exporters, especially in terms of foreign exchange revenues. Market players are hopeful that 2022 also holds good profits in store.

Export value increased by 12%

The year 2021 proved to be extremely successful in terms of Turkish dried fruit exports. A total of USD 1.57 billion worth of fruit was shipped overseas, which is an increase of 12% compared to the previous year. Sultanas, dried figs and dried apricots accounted for the lion's share, with a combined value of USD 1.39 billion.
