Exports are running well

The first batches of dried figs from this year's crop have now arrived at their destinations. Turkish dried fruit traders are satisfied with the seasonal development of demand; dried figs are particularly popular in many places around Christmas time. At 2,017 mt, weekly exports are at a similar level as last year; a total of 12,150 mt of dried figs and dried fig products were shipped overseas in the first three weeks of the new 2022/2023 season, compared to 13,223 mt this time last year.
