Dried figs: market players are surprisingly confident

FARS. Traders in Iran are currently facing enormous difficulties, as the government has interrupted the internet connection. This renders communication very difficult. In addition, the harvest has been completed and the market has adjusted the prices for dried figs.

Fresh fig production ranges at 88,338 metric tonnes

Despite the political and economic upheavals in the country, market players are confident that trading activities will resume as normal again over the next few days. Harvesting has been completed and fresh fig production is currently estimated at 88,338 metric tonnes. As much as 46% (40,602 mt) were produced in the Fars Province and 27% (23,558 mt) in the Lorestan Province.
