AYDIN. Despite the high prices, buying interest in Turkish dried figs has increased significantly, also to the surprise of traders. Exports are also finally picking up.

Goods are becoming scarce

Interesting developments have taken place on the Turkish dried fig market since last week. Although prices are still very high, traders' concerns that they would not be able to sell the goods to buyers have proved unfounded.
