Vietnam functions as a gateway to China as most dried figs are reshipped from here to the country. Although Iraq only ranks third with an export share of as little as 1.34 %, the average export price of USD 3.43 per kg ranges higher than in all other export destinations indicating that the quality of the dried figs imported was higher. Market players are confident that exports will further improve this year due to good growing
