MALATYA. The TMO is starting its dried apricot purchases and has announced its purchase prices. This also stabilises prices on the free market. Exports are still very promising.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced that the TMO will start buying dried apricots from today (3 September). According to a statement from the Ministry, that "In order to ensure stability in the markets with policies in favor of producers in dried apricots, one of the most important export products of Turkey, to meet the healthy storage needs of producers and to protect the export value, it has been decided that TMO will purchase dried apricots.
