MALATYA. Prices for Turkish dried apricots are currently holding steady. However, growers are urgently advised to look into the right pruning techniques for their trees in order to maximise yields. Exports are still going well.

Calm market situation

On the Turkish dried apricot market, both commodity and export prices remain at the same level as last week. The markets are largely calm and demand is moderate but stable. No 1 and no 2 dried apricots currently cost TRY 140-150/kg, while export prices for no 2 are at USD 4,900/mt FOB Mersin.
