Dried apricots: Shipments decline by 4.5%

MALATYA. Contrary to last year, buyers are asked to expect rising prices in Turkey over the next few months.

Focus is on 2019

The export prices for dried apricots from Turkey remain stable this week and are trading on a similar level as last year. Although prices fell steadily in the second half of 2017/18, the market is now reckoning with rising prices for this season over the next few months. According to one trader, there is, however, not much room for upward movements, unless of course something unexpected occurs.
