Dried apricots: prices vary widely

MALATYA. Both farmgate and export prices for the new crop still differ significantly depending on the supplier. The harvesting process is now largely complete, while drying is still in full swing.

Farmgate prices have ended their upward trend for the time being and have been holding at a stable level since last week, at TRY 130-150/kg for large varieties. Prices for smaller varieties such as no 3 and no 4 are hovering around TRY 80-90/kg, but can still vary widely depending on the supplier. This also causes many buyers to ask about the current prices for the new crop, but wait until there is more clarity before actually buying.
