Dried apricots: prices reach all-time high

MALATYA. Farmgate prices in Turkey have continued to rise, leaving farmers cheering but also amazed. Nevertheless, export demand remains unbroken.

Farmgate prices twice as high as in 2020

The Turkish apricot market is currently not calming down. The winners are the growers, who can be more than satisfied with the farmgate prices. Compared to last week, prices have risen once again and are now at an all-time high of TRY 45-50/kg. For comparison: Last year, raw materials cost between TRY 20 and 25/kg shortly after the start of the season.
