Over the last few days frost has occurred in the higher altitudes and the effects on the apricot trees, which are on full bloom, may be fatal. The farmers and the lurid headlines of the local media claim that the situation is a disaster and that the damage is correspondingly large. Market players are, however, sceptical about such reports.
