Dried apricots: Frosty temperatures may heat up market

MALATYA. Dried apricots are still trading on an attractive level. The situation may, however, change quickly.

 

Unexpectedly cheap

Contrary to expectations, the prices for dried apricots have remained relatively stable in Turkey since the turn of the year. This trend will continue as long as there is no excessive demand. The export prices are much lower than last year, not least due to the weak Turkish lira.
