MANISA. Hailstorms and rain have caused considerable damage in Manisa. Dried apricots from the new crop are already being shipped.

According to market observers, hail and rain have caused considerable damage in Manisa at beginning of the week. The actual scale of the damage is still to be assessed. It remains to be seen to what extent the market prices will be influenced. Prices are currently trending downwards and have dropped since last week.
