Dried apricots: Almost completely sold out

MALATYA. The dried fruit suppliers in Turkey are aligning their offers for dried apricots. Not even the high export demand is driving up prices to any noticeable extent.

Narrowing price gap

Despite this season’s decline in production and the continuing stable demand from overseas, the prices for dried apricots have remained virtually unchanged since the beginning of January. Depending on supplier, price differences of around 150 USD/mt may be observed, but this gap is gradually becoming narrower. Last year, prompt shipments were up to 1,000 USD/mt more expensive than they are now.
