Demand is high for whole dried fruits

After many buyers entered contracts, trading activity slowed down considerably. Market players reckon that buyers are increasingly turning their attention towards sultanas and dried figs. Overseas shipments range at 17,291 metric tonnes since the beginning of the season, which is a 5.5% decline since last year. Whole dried apricots remain highly popular, whereas the exports of industrial and diced apricots have dropped by 20%
