Various problems dominate the market

In the apricot market, producers and traders are currently facing several adversities. On the one hand, there is the shortage of farmgate goods for the smaller varieties no 3 and no 4, which has caused commodity prices to rise; they are currently at TRY 24-25/kg. On the other hand, the Turkish lira continues to be very volatile, which makes it difficult for exporters to estimate future price developments.
