Corn: Bulgaria is in for a surprise

SOFIA. The latest crop figures in Bulgaria have come as a surprise for the farmers.

Crop exceeds expectations
Although the weather was too dry at the beginning of the harvest season, output has increased by 6.4 % due to a higher yield. According to the Ministry of Agriculture 98.6% of the fields have been harvested so far.
