CHICAGO/PARIS. Market and price trends with first trade assessments. Grain prices continue to fall on the physical markets. Russia's change of course on customs policy is apparently causing surprise. China continues to buy more corn.

Wheat: Russian government eases tariff regime

Wheat showed a rather weaker trend in Europe, while prices in the USA rose slightly. The comparatively high export inspection of 683,492 mt of US wheat, 41% above last week, had caused prices to firm. At the same time, rain improved growth conditions in the Midwest. The news of the day, however, comes from Russia.
