CHRUDIM. As of today, the schools in the Czech Republic will remain closed and events with more than 100 participants have been suspended until further notice. Meanwhile, the blue poppy seed farmers have started sowing.

By Tuesday morning, 40 infections with Covid-19 had been confirmed in the Czech Republic. According to the Czech New Agency, Prime Minister Andrej Babis announced that teaching at all schools will be discontinued from 11 March until further notice. The holding of events with more than 100 participants is also prohibited.
