Blue poppy seeds: No new record highs in sight

CHRUDIM. Although the market prices in the Czech Republic will hardly reach new record highs this season, buyers still have to be prepared for high prices.

 

Offers approach 3.80 EUR/kg

The prices in the Czech Republic remain firm this week. Traders reckon that they have stabilized for now. Even over the next few weeks it is not to be expected that they will rise above 4.00 EUR/kg, which is the magic threshold for many buyers as most are not prepared to pay more. Offers vary on a price level of 3.82-2.85 EUR/kg FCA Czech Republic.
