ANKARA/CHRUDIM. Before the end of the year, blue poppy seed prices in Turkey are currently under pressure. The weakening TRY is accelerating this development.

After the prices for Czech blue poppy seeds have constantly declined in recent weeks, the competitor from Turkey is now going along. The weak TRY additionally forwards the price decline. Traders currently quote price indications of USD 3.45-3.50 per kg CFR Hamburg. In the Czech Republic, the price indications are about EUR 2.80 per kg FCA.
