Apricots: Big prices for large fruit

MALATYA. Depending on the initial price of the respective supplier, prices have developed diversely for Turkish dried apricots.

Tendency: unsteady
Basically, it can be said that the price level is approaching the mean value. Prices for larger dried fruit have increased because of their popularity. However, should traders still have merchandise on stock, same can even be sold for a lower price. The large dried apricots which are less in demand have given way overall. Some exporters are making the weak Turkish lira responsible for the price decrease.
